WEEK 24

So tomorrow I start my 24th week of pregnancy. That means I am now 6 months along. I am in the process of scheduling all of my baby classes now. It looks like most of them are going to be done in July. The military base does not offer lamaz. They do have a two session tape though that will be viewed with a nurse. So I need to schedule a couple of sessions with her. I will be taking baby basic which covers 0-6 months. Also I will be taking a breast feeding class. Michael and I also are going to schedule a cpr class. We feel that it is very important to learn that stuff. Later we will be taking a budgeting class so that we can get a free sea bag full of $200 worth of baby supplies. After the baby is born and is 6 weeks old, there is an infant massage class I want to take.

The baby and I are getting bigger. He is so active. He kicks all the time. We have decided to name him Hunter Isaac Greb. We are both so proud of him and very much in love with our little boy.

If I were to go into preterm labor, Hunter has a chance of survival. He would have to be in intensive care for a few months, but he could live. That makes me feel good to know. This baby is such a miracle to us. I no longer have any doubts about raising him. I am still scared of the birth process, but once I get past that, I am really looking forward to taking care of him. I just want to hold him in my arms and love him. He is the best thing that could happen to us.

WEEK 20

So I started week 20 on Wednesday. I am getting bigger now it seems. Family and friends seem to be able to tell that I am showing. Strangers don't pay a lot of attention to it. I think so suspect but don't want to insult me, so I haven't had a problem with women touching my stomach yet. The baby kicks all the time now. It is really active and really strong. On monday I have my ultrasound to see if they can determine the sex of the baby. I really hope they can tell. Morning sickness isn't much of an issue anymore. I did get sick when trying to start my prenatal vitamins again. I am not sure how I am gonna handle that yet since I really shouldn't skip them. The baby seems to have permanently rooted itself on my bladder now. I really love this baby. With every kick my feelings get stronger. I thought that I could never feel love like this for anyone but Michael. These feelings are so overwhelming now. I don't think I love the baby more, but definetly equal to what I feel for him. At least it is getting that way anyway.

I am at the half way point now in my pregnancy. The baby is more active. The scalp hair is starting to grow now. If it is a girl the uterus is developing.

My uterus is at my naval now. My belly button is becoming an outie. I noticed a couple weeks ago it was getting closer. It is almost flush with my stomach now. I guess I am gonna start growing my steadily now. I am ready I think. I have come to terms with it and feel like gaining weight isn't a bad thing because it is for a good reason.
